Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Position Summary The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Reporting to the CFO, this position will collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial modeling, reporting, and analytics within a high-growth, private equity-backed or SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Develop and maintain financial models to analyze key business drivers, revenue trends, costs, and profitability. Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to inform executive decision-making. Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and drive cost efficiencies. Support M&A due diligence, financial integration, and post-acquisition performance tracking. Develop dashboards and automated reports to improve real-time financial visibility. Actively monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational and strategic needs. Partner with private equity stakeholders, preparing investor reports and board presentations. Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and ROI assessments for strategic initiatives. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA/CPA preferred. 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably within a private equity-backed, SaaS, or healthcare technology environment. Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial planning software (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct, Workday, or similar) and CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred). Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing reports for executives and investors. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
