Research Associate III - Assay Development

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision, including making observations and analyzing data.
• Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses; maintain complete and accurate records.
• Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment by providing creative solutions and input to project planning.
• Contribute to process improvement suggestions and assist in identifying patentable inventions.
• Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and continuous adherence to the Quality First Time principle.
• Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for complex problems.

Skills:

• Proficiency in a range of specialized wet laboratory techniques, including pipetting, using a balance, and stir plate.
• Ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments.
• Scientific literature searching capability.
• Skilled in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Technical report writing, quantitative analysis, and laboratory documentation.
• Troubleshooting and corrective action implementation.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, collaborative mindset, coachability, and willingness to learn.
• Preferred: Experience with SAFe/Agile planning processes and reporting frameworks.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences.
• 4–6 years of relevant post-college job experience.
