Chief Philanthropy Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The YMCA of the Palm Beaches is expanding its philanthropy team and seeking a dynamic and accomplished fundraising leader to serve as our Chief Philanthropy Officer. Reporting directly to the President & CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Philanthropy Officer will lead the YMCA's philanthropic strategy in alignment with the organization’s strategic initiatives and priorities. High-level competencies should include the following:

· Proven strength in developing, leading, and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies

· Success raising seven figure gifts (eight figure gifts a plus)

· Experience leading capital and/or comprehensive campaigns

· Planned giving expertise

· Expert relationship-building skills

· Track record of taking principal and major donors from identification through solicitation

· Experience tracking and using data analysis to build fundraising strategy

· Creative, personal, and effective stewardship strategies for principal and major donors

· Successful team management and leadership experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree required; CFRE and/or CFRM highly preferred

· 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience

· Demonstrated success securing major and principal gifts

· Proven experience leading comprehensive fundraising initiatives and capital campaigns

· Exceptional relationship-building skills with donors, volunteers, board members, and community leaders

Salary range: $170,000-$220,000.
