Payroll/Benefits Specialist

Payroll/Benefits Specialist Contingency Staffing has a Payroll and Benefits opportunity open with their Manufacturing client in Upstate New York. This position supports the weekly payroll for 600 plus employees in a union environment. Responsibilities: Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of a weekly payroll Data entry, timekeeping and managing deductions. Maintaining and updating employee records to ensure the accuracy for personal information and salary changes and generating payroll‑related reports for management and audit purposes. Support responsibilities would include: processing employee enrollments changes and terminations for benefit programs Educating employees about FSA & HSA plan benefits, contribution limits, and eligible expenses. Assisting employees with 401K enrollment and account management. Qualifications: 5+ years payroll and benefits experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Compensation is a base annual salary of $55,000 to $60,000 depending on experience. Relocation assistance offered. Open to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
