This role involves providing specialized critical care for burn and trauma patients within a 30-bed unit, supporting a team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Job Details Position: Intensive Care Unit Burn (ICU BURN) Nurse Location: Plano, TX Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: RN license, experience in trauma, burn, or surgical intensive care units, excellent communication and critical thinking skills, BSN preferred, CCRN preferred Preferred Qualifications: BSN, CCRN certification Float: Float rotation may be required Additional Information: Unit information includes burn ICU and trauma ICU with specialized equipment and technology such as EMR - Meditech. Typical procedures include wound care, codes, external ventricular drains (EVDs), and massive transfusions protocol (MTP). The team-based environment encourages asking questions and offering assistance, with a dress code of royal blue scrubs. Weekend and on-call requirements involve two weekends per pay period. No minimum years of experience required beyond the stated qualifications. Candidates must be available to start on 09/21/2026, with assignments ending on 12/21/2026.
