Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation center that fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Our regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored intervention plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to treat patients with various orthopedic issues, such as post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
• Implement and monitor exercise procedures, adjust protocols as required by patient progress, and provide ongoing education to empower self-management.
• Incorporate manual therapy techniques and modalities into treatment plans to promote healing and restore function.
• Regularly evaluate patients' progress and modify treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care solutions.
• Motivate and encourage patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey and pursue lifestyle changes that enhance their overall well-being.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain ongoing communication with patients regarding their treatment objectives and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters primarily to adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in guiding these individuals through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain functionality and confidence in their movements. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery timelines and overall satisfaction with their care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy and patient-specific exercise program design.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting.
• Familiarity with patient management software and electronic health records.
• Advanced training in therapeutic modalities or specialized certification in orthopedic physical therapy is a plus.
