Inventory Control Specialist / Inventory Control Clerk Location: Gainesville, TX Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Job Summary Penmac Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist/Inventory Control Clerk to join a production facility team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately counting, tracking, and moving inventory throughout the plant while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production operations. Key Responsibilities Accurately count and verify inventory throughout the production facility. Move inventory as requested to support production and warehouse operations. Conduct routine inventory checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with inventory counts in both indoor production areas and outdoor shipping yard locations. Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products. Communicate inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving inventory issues. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Requirements Previous inventory control, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred. Forklift experience is required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and counting skills. Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift. Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Ability to work outdoors when conducting inventory counts in the shipping yard. Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
