This entry-level position involves preparing the operating room, handling instruments and supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAnticipate, select, use and maintain equipment and supplies for surgical procedurePrepare and maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedureFollow established policies and procedures for sharps, sponge and instrument countsAssist in transportation, housekeeping and Sterile Processing as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GEDCertified Surgical TechnologistCPRPreferred QualificationsMinimum 1 year experience with scrub and circulation skillsPrior experience with sterile technique, infection control, sterilization and disinfection proceduresThe pay range for this position is $26.58 - $39.86. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
