Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including fellow healthcare providers, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient support and recovery.
Facilitate both patient and family education to enhance understanding and progress outside of therapy sessions.
Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment, fostering a cohesive continuum of care.
Maintain meticulous documentation that meets organizational and regulatory standards for quality assurance.
Engage in continuing education and interprofessional collaboration to remain at the forefront of the latest therapeutic advancements.
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days post-employment.
Proven expertise in applying evidence-based therapies across all age demographics, with an acute understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders concerning speech, language, and swallowing.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Adept in customizing therapy strategies to respect cultural variations and individual patient needs.
