Job Overview A law firm seeks an Innovation Lawyer - Finance in Atlanta, GA. This role is embedded within the Technology Department and aligned with the Corporate & Finance Transactions Department. The position focuses on developing and driving AI strategy for transactional lawyers, particularly in finance work. The successful candidate will engage in firm-wide projects and collaborate with other professionals to deliver AI transformation across the firm's global network. Duties Identify high-value AI use cases across Finance Teams. Support pilots of AI platforms with the LEAP Taskforce. Standardize and scale AI solutions across Finance Teams. Provide AI support and assistance to lawyers. Embed AI in associate training programs. Prepare and deliver AI-related presentations and trainings. Collaborate with Knowledge Solutions and Innovation teams. Requirements At least 5 years' experience as a finance lawyer in a large law firm. Experience in a legal technology role or a strong interest in AI. Understanding of legal finance workflows and a process-driven mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Service-oriented with a can-do attitude. Flexibility to support firm priorities and strategies. Understanding of product development and management is desirable. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and persuade others. Experience in training and development.
