Mid-Level or Senior Commercial Litigation Associate

Responsibilities Work on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal. Draft complex case evaluations, briefs, pleadings, motions, and other documents. Manage complex disputes, including overseeing discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions). Take and defend depositions; work with fact witnesses and experts. Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel. Attend hearings and assist in litigation proceedings. Collaborative mindset and strong appreciation for teamwork. Technical Skills 5–7 years of complex commercial litigation experience, including false advertising and consumer class action experience. Strong writing and case management abilities, level‑appropriate direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills. Deposition and court experience preferred. Previous law firm experience strongly preferred. Federal District Court or appellate clerkship is a plus. Other Requirements Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California and be in good standing. Submission of a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and at least one writing sample is required. The cover letter should describe relevant experience, including false advertising and consumer class actions. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans. Salary range: $325,000 to $365,000 based on experience and location, pursuant to California law.
