Details Work in the Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting Care for pediatric patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week) CVICU and NICU experience is preferred Level 1 trauma center experience required Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Certifications must be issued by AHA only Additional Information Assume responsibility for an assigned group of pediatric ICU patients Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position Compliance documentation, including background checks and drug screening, must begin immediately upon offer due to strict facility deadlines Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer to allow for compliance processing American Traveler Job ID P-743014.
