Manager, SC Operations - 2nd Shift

Shift & Schedule 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm Pay, Benefits, & More Annual salary range: $84,319 – $108,000 per year (California only) Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) and other programs for eligible employees. Responsibilities Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure customer commitments are met. Demonstrate an understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives. Provide guidance to supervisors regarding personnel, quality, and safety. Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively. Recommend programs to improve operations. Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team. Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner. Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards. Qualifications Minimum Requirements 4 years of relevant work experience. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime and weekends. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field. 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience. Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment. Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience. Experience in warehousing or third‑party logistics (3PL). Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments. Strong problem‑solving techniques and statistical analysis skills. Physical Demands Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach (including above head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
