We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a golf event in Mandeville, Louisiana through a contract assignment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys assisting guests in a fast-paced retail-style setting and creating a welcoming experience for attendees. The role combines customer interaction, point-of-sale support, and light administrative tasks, with training provided for the event environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome golfers and event guests, answer questions, and provide friendly assistance throughout the event.

• Process customer purchases accurately for event merchandise, including gold apparel, while maintaining efficient checkout service.

• Support retail operations by helping guests locate items and making sure the sales area remains organized and presentable.

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries with attention to detail and direct requests to the appropriate event staff when needed.

• Perform basic clerical duties such as handling simple paperwork, tracking transactions, and maintaining organized records.

• Contribute to a positive attendee experience by resolving routine service issues promptly and courteously.

• Previous customer service experience in a retail, event, or guest-facing environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with attendees, customers, and team members.
• Comfortable handling point-of-sale or checkout responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capable of answering inbound calls or inquiries and providing helpful information in a timely manner.
• Basic clerical and administrative skills, including recordkeeping and simple paperwork tasks.
• Willingness to learn quickly and follow event procedures during provided training.
• Reliable, detail oriented, and able to work effectively in a busy event setting.
