Project Executive

MXI Partners are searching for a Project Executive for a leading data center contractor in Northern Virginia specializing in whitespace integration and tenant fiouts. Our client is scaling rapidly, and they are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead one of their data center teams and spearhead industry growth nationwide. Key Responsibilities Provide executive oversight for multiple complex construction projects across assigned regions or client portfolios. Lead and mentor project management teams to ensure consistent execution, profitability, and high performance. Develop and maintain long-term client and partner relationships; support strategic business development initiatives. Establish and enforce standards for communication, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Oversee project planning, scheduling, and close-out processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Set and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all projects. Monitor financial performance, profitability, budgeting, procurement strategies, and risk exposure. Oversee contract administration, change management, and regulatory compliance. Drive continuous improvement in constructability, quality assurance, and operational processes. Lead workforce planning, leadership development, and team performance strategy. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field 10+ years of experience in large-scale or mission-critical construction environments. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with significant portfolio value. Strong financial acumen, contract management knowledge, and risk management expertise. Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing senior project teams. Proficiency with construction management software platforms.
