Bookkeeper – Manage Financial Operations for Bachmann Pools & Spas Job Overview Company: Bachmann Pools & Spas Salary/Pay Rate: $26–$32 per hour Location: Madison, WI Job/Employment Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday–Friday Project Scope: Retail, service, and inventory-focused financial operations Mandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required The Opportunity You will serve as a crucial anchor for our daily financial operations, keeping records precise and organized. This role gives you the autonomy to manage essential accounting functions while supporting a business known for top‑tier wellness products. You will collaborate closely with ownership to ensure long‑term financial clarity and organizational success. How You Will Make An Impact Administer daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain strong vendor and customer relations. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and inventory records against original purchase orders to ensure total accuracy. Prepare comprehensive basic financial reports and payroll documentation for review by ownership and outside tax professionals. Organize and track outstanding balances, executing professional follow‑ups to optimize company cash flow. Implement efficient process improvements within our financial systems to streamline seasonal workflow shifts. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Workspace applications. Proven expertise in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and complex financial reconciliations. Demonstrated organizational skills necessary to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Experience working within a small business, retail, or inventory‑focused environment. Familiarity with Evosus or similar business management and accounting software platforms. Prior experience processing payroll or utilizing systems like ADP.
