Equipment Technician – $26-$34/hr + Travel expenses!

Pay:
$26.00/hour for shop work (no travel required)
Earn an additional $8.00/hour ($34.00/hour total) while traveling on assignment
All travel expenses covered, including per diem
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on generators, load banks, power distribution equipment, transformers, and low-voltage cables.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues and perform major repairs.
Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble equipment as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and low-voltage quality control checks.
Prepare rental equipment, including generators, AC/DC load banks, transformers, cables, and trailers.
Operate hand tools, power tools, metering equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other shop equipment.
Fabricate parts and equipment to meet shop and customer needs.
Accurately complete repair documentation and estimate repair time and costs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Trade school graduates or candidates with mechanical, electrical, diesel, industrial maintenance, or generator experience are encouraged to apply.
Must be at least 23 years old.
Valid driver's license required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
Must have reliable transportation.
Travel:
This position is primarily shop-based with no required travel.
Technicians who choose to travel on assignments can earn an additional $8.00/hour while on the road.
Travel assignments may last up to two weeks at a time, with all travel expenses and per diem provided.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime available
First 3 weeks consist of hands-on training in the shop.
