Job description:Food Manufacturing Company – Niles, ILStarting Pay: $20 per hourShift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)Pay Frequency: WeeklyJoin a growing food manufacturing company in Niles, IL! We're looking for a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to help maintain accurate warehouse inventory and support daily warehouse operations. If you're organized, dependable, and experienced in inventory control, this is a great opportunity to join a long-term team with weekly pay.What You'll DoPerform daily cycle counts of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming inventory.Utilize inventory management software to process cycle counts, review inventory levels, and investigate inventory activity.Verify materials are stored in the correct warehouse locations and locate missing or misplaced inventory.Count, weigh, and label products to ensure accurate inventory records.Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and inventory variances to supervisors.Assist with root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to increase inventory accuracy.Support receiving, put-away, and material transfers between the warehouse and production areas.Break down boxes and pallets as needed to maximize storage space.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while following all food safety and company safety procedures.Wear required PPE at all times and assist with overtime or weekend work when needed.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience.Previous cycle counting or inventory experience preferred.Forklift experience is preferred.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and inventory management systems.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Basic math skills, including measurements, percentages, and ratios.Ability to lift, move, and organize warehouse materials as needed.Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Available to work overtime and weekends when business needs require.DetailsStarting pay of $20.00 per hourWeekly payFull-time hoursLong-term employment opportunityPositive and supportive work environmentHow to ApplyWalk in and apply in person with 2 forms of identification!Application Hours:Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMNexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc.7900 N Milwaukee Ave, Unit 12Niles, IL 60714Inside the Oak Mill Plaza MallAI Disclosure: Our recruitment process may include AI-assisted tools to support candidate evaluation.
