Position Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Clerk to support inventory accuracy within a warehouse environment. This role is responsible for performing physical inventory counts, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and generating inventory reports. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a warehouse with varying temperature conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and update inventory records.
• Compare physical inventory to office records, sales orders, production records, and purchase invoices.
• Verify inventory calculations and reconcile discrepancies.
• Investigate inventory variances and report findings.
• Generate inventory reports, including inventory balances and shortages.
• Prepare lists of depleted, defective, or unusable inventory items.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams for daily communication and reporting.
• Follow inventory control procedures to ensure data accuracy.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment with three temperature zones:
  • Dry
  • Cooler
  • Freezer
• Small, collaborative, and close-knit team.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or inventory-related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel formatting skills.
• Experience with data analysis.

Training

• Onsite training provided.
• Training duration will vary based on individual learning pace.

Interview Process

• One in-person interview.
• One interviewer.
