Shipping and Receiving Clerk position available in the Dexter, Michigan area working at our client location who is a growing manufacturer.

Contract to hire opportunity with a pay range of $18.50 to $20.00 an hour DOE. Monday–Friday position with hours 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional Saturdays may be required.

Responsibilities for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position include:

• Verify, weigh, count, and distribute parts to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Move materials between departments and to outside subcontractors as needed
• Operate digital and mechanical scales
• Perform basic housekeeping duties
• Complete data entry and maintain accurate records
• Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement efforts
• Assist other departments as needed and perform additional assigned duties

Qualifications for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position include:

• Shipping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift permit or willingness to obtain certification
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Reliable attendance, overtime flexibility, and ability to work independently with initiative
