CNC Machinist - Mills, Lathes & Swiss Machines Up to $45/Hour | All Shifts Available | Direct Hire Opportunities

Pay & Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and Swiss Machines
• Perform machine setups including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and workholding
• Run first articles and make machine adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges
• Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Maintain tight tolerances on precision machined components
• Perform in-process inspections and document results
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes

Preferred Machine Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desired:

• CNC Vertical & Horizontal Mills
• 3-Axis and 5-Axis Machining Centers
• HAAS, Doosan, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Okuma, and Makino equipment
• CNC Lathes with Live Tooling and Y-Axis Capability
• Twin-Spindle / Twin-Turret Lathes
• Swiss Machines including Citizen, Star, Tsugami, and Miyano

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and produce high-quality parts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, defense, or precision machining experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
