Bookkeeper for QuickBooks Online

## Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized **Bookkeeper** with at least **3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience** to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate is certified in bookkeeping or accounting, proficient in accounting software, and experienced in using **HubSpot CRM** to support customer, sales, and financial data management.

## Key Responsibilities

### Accounting & Bookkeeping

* Record and maintain all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
* Prepare and process invoices, payments, deposits, and expense reports.
* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Support budgeting and cash flow management activities.
* Assist external accountants during audits and tax preparation.

### HubSpot CRM & Business Support

* Maintain and update customer and vendor information within HubSpot CRM.
* Coordinate financial data with customer records and sales activities.
* Generate CRM-based reports related to accounts, invoices, and customer activity.
* Support sales and customer service teams by ensuring accurate customer account data.
* Track customer payment status and assist with collections using HubSpot workflows where applicable.

### Compliance & Administration

* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.
* Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
* Assist in developing and improving financial procedures and internal controls.
* Organize and maintain electronic and physical accounting records.

## Required Qualifications

* Minimum **3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience**.
* Certified Bookkeeper (CB), QuickBooks Certification, Accounting Certificate, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
* Experience with **HubSpot CRM**.
* Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
* Experience working in small to mid-sized businesses.
* Knowledge of sales processes, CRM integrations, and customer account management.
* Experience with payroll processing and sales tax reporting.
* Familiarity with inventory management and order processing.
