Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Bookkeeper with QuickBooks to manage small-business general ledgers and client bookkeeping portfolios. Reporting directly to the Business Owner, this role will use QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records, support reconciliation and full month-end close activities, prepare financial statements, and produce monthly management reports. The position offers opportunities to progress to Senior Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, and manager-level reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Record transactions using double-entry bookkeeping practices.
Manage small-business general ledgers and client bookkeeping portfolios.
Perform bank, monthly, and payroll reconciliations.
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Track expenses and provide payroll support, including ADP Payroll integration.
Maintain QuickBooks Online records and documentation.
Support the full month-end close and prepare financial statements.
Prepare monthly management reports from QuickBooks.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
Experience with QuickBooks Online.
Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
Experience with payroll reconciliation and monthly reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
QuickBooks Online certification.
