The Accounting Bookkeeper is a vital member of a small, independent team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the monthly close process. This role involves daily transaction entry and efficient management of financial data using QuickBooks, with a focus on construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Entry of invoices, receipts, slips, credit card
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Process invoices and track expenses systematically
• Prepare financial reports to support monthly close activities
• Reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date ledgers
• Assist with payroll support for timely and accurate payments

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and General Ledger processes
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Experience in the construction industry is key
