Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Asset Specialist to support a fast-paced creative studio and production environment in Bolingbrook, IL . This hybrid 6-month contract role is ideal for a highly organized, technically skilled professional with experience in digital asset management, Adobe Creative Suite, and creative production workflows. The Digital Asset Specialist will serve as a key liaison within the studio, managing the intake, processing, organization, quality control, and delivery of high volumes of photo and video assets across internal teams and external production partners. Schedule is Tuesday-Friday (32+ hours/week) with an onsite requirement of 3 days/week.

Job Description:
• Manage the daily intake, processing, organization, and transfer of digital photo and video assets within studio production workflows
• Serve as a key liaison between Photography, Creative, Video, Retouching, Production, and external agency partners to ensure assets are delivered accurately and on schedule
• Process and organize digital files, including file naming, metadata tagging, keywording, and asset cataloging to support efficient search and retrieval
• Coordinate the movement of creative assets between photographers, creative teams, retouchers, and production partners
• Deliver assets to internal retouching teams and external partners with detailed notes and requests to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain the organization, integrity, and accessibility of large-scale image and video libraries across servers and digital asset management platforms
• Upload, organize, and maintain creative assets within platforms such as Frame.io and Frontify
• Perform quality assurance checks on product detail page (PDP) assets, including image validation, cropping, sizing, color swatches, naming conventions, and e-commerce specifications
• Create composite product imagery and perform batch image edits using Adobe Photoshop Actions and automation tools
• Provide backup support for digital asset processing and assist with additional studio operational needs as required
• Support image research and retrieval requests for internal stakeholders, leadership presentations, monthly business reviews, and creative recaps
• Pull, organize, and compile creative assets for business reviews, presentations, reporting, and other business needs
• Monitor asset workflows and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, organization, and asset accessibility
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a high-volume studio environment

Must Have Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital asset management or a related field
• 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with particular expertise in Photoshop and Bridge
• Hands-on experience with batch processing and Photoshop Actions
• 3+ years of experience working within digital asset management (DAM) systems
• Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of digital file management, metadata standards, and image optimization workflows
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and quality

Nice to Have Qualifications:
• Experience with Capture One, Frame.io, Global Edit, Frontify, Firefly Creative Production, or similar digital asset management and image cataloging platforms
• Experience supporting photography studios, creative production teams, e-commerce, or digital content workflows
• Experience performing image quality control for e-commerce or product detail page assets
• Experience creating composite product imagery and using image-editing automation tools
• Familiarity with photo and video production workflows and external agency partnerships
