Clinical Lab Scientist - Immunogenetics Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing in an Immunogenetics and transplantation (HLA) laboratory; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Provides laboratory services in a timely manner and consistently delivers excellent customer service. Serves as a technical resource for customers and other staff. Adheres to all safety policies. Performs other related CLS functions as required. Minimum Qualifications Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license or limited CLS license in Histocompatibility. Applicable clinical laboratory experience. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of professional‑level experience in an accredited HLA laboratory. A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related science. Certification by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI) as a Certified Histocompatibility Technologist (CHT) or CHS, or certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, MT(ASCP). Experience with various HLA testing methodologies such as HLA genotyping by NGS/RT‑PCR/SSO/SSP, flow crossmatch, Single Antigen Bead assay, Flow PRA, etc. Special Conditions Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and at various locations as necessary in accordance with operational needs. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $110,079 - $145,408 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%).
