Salary Information - $1,123 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH).

Job Summary - Adjunct Mathematics Instructor for face to face and/or online instruction. Fall Semester 2026/Spring Semester 2027. Primary locations in Des Moines Metro area. Positions at additional DMACC locations may be available. Review of applications will begin immediately.

Essential Functions - Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications - Master of Math or any master's with 12 graduate semester credits in Math. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications - At least 6 graduate semester credits in Statistics. Teaching experience.

Work Schedule - Face to face and/or online instruction. Fall Semester 2026/Spring Semester 2027. Days and times yet to be determined.
