Public Relations Manager

Jeff’s Bagel Run is looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager to lead earned media efforts across our growing brand. This person will oversee local PR in every market we serve while also building Jeff’s Bagel Run’s presence in national consumer, business and restaurant trade media. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to find the story, build strong media relationships and turn brand momentum into meaningful coverage. What You’ll Do Develop and lead Jeff’s Bagel Run’s overall public relations strategy across local, national and trade media. Manage local PR efforts in all current and future markets, including new shop openings, community partnerships, local events and market-specific storytelling. Build relationships with local reporters, editors, producers, influencers and community partners. Secure national consumer, business and restaurant industry coverage that increases awareness of the Jeff’s Bagel Run brand and supports franchise growth. Develop compelling story angles around company growth, leadership, franchise development, menu innovation, community involvement and brand culture. Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, talking points, award submissions, executive bylines and other communications materials. Serve as a trusted media contact and coordinate interviews with company leaders, founders, franchise partners and subject‑matter experts. Provide PR support and guidance to franchise partners in local markets. Work closely with the marketing, operations, development and leadership teams to identify upcoming stories and ensure consistent messaging. Manage proactive and reactive communications, including issues and crisis communications when needed. Maintain the company’s media calendar, contact lists and coverage reports. Track results and regularly report on media coverage, reach, message pull‑through and overall PR impact. Support major brand moments, including new market launches, milestones, partnerships, limited‑time offers and company events. What We’re Looking For This is an in‑person role in Orlando At least five years of public relations experience. Restaurant, food and beverage, hospitality or franchise PR experience is required. Demonstrated success securing local, national and trade media coverage. Strong relationships with reporters and editors, particularly within the restaurant and business media landscape. Excellent writing, editing, pitching and storytelling skills. Experience supporting multiple markets or locations at the same time. Strong news judgment and the ability to recognize a compelling story. Experience working directly with executives and preparing leaders for media interviews. Ability to move quickly, manage competing priorities and stay organized in a fast‑growing environment. A collaborative, proactive approach and a willingness to jump in and get the work done. Experience with crisis communications is strongly preferred.
