Position Summary
We’re seeking a bilingual Spanish HR professional to lead full-cycle HR operations for a fast-paced manufacturing facility in the Passaic, NJ area. This is a highly visible, hands-on role supporting 200 employees across a 24/7 operation, ideal for someone who thrives in employee relations, onboarding, training, and partnering closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the Passaic, NJ area facility, supporting employees and managers across three shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, resolving workplace issues, conducting investigations, and ensuring consistent policy application.
- Coordinate and administer full-cycle onboarding processes including orientation, new hire documentation, benefits enrollment, and HRIS setup.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including status changes, disciplinary actions, performance documentation, attendance tracking, and terminations.
- Support recruiting and hiring activities including job postings, applicant tracking, interview coordination, and onboarding logistics.
- Administer leave management, workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and compliance-related documentation.
- Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes utilizing HRIS and workforce management systems such as ADP, Kronos, and UKG.
- Coordinate employee training initiatives, compliance programs, and workforce communications to support operational and organizational goals.
- Generate HR reports and maintain employee data integrity while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Partner closely with operations leadership to support staffing, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish required.
- Experience supporting HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with employee relations, onboarding, training, HRIS administration, and compliance.
- Proficiency with ADP, Kronos, UKG, or similar HR/payroll systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-shift operation.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Fully onsite position based in Passaic, NJ area.
- Standard schedule approximately 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
- One late evening per week and one Saturday per month required to support 24/7 operations.
- Individual contributor role with no direct reports.
