We are partnering with a well-established engineering and consulting firm seeking a Survey Director to oversee survey operations across Virginia. This leadership role is focused on team management, technical oversight, and strategic growth within a high-performing surveying practice. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage survey teams across the region, ensuring consistent, high-quality project delivery Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for growth Oversee project execution including scope, schedule, staffing, and budgets Collaborate with leadership to align services with client and market needs Implement best practices, quality control standards, and modern surveying technologies Mentor and develop staff, including hiring, training, and performance management Promote collaboration and efficient resource utilization across projects Maintain strong client relationships and ensure overall satisfaction Qualifications 15+ years of surveying experience, including leadership and project management Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Virginia required Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, GIS, Engineering, or related field Strong leadership experience managing teams and multiple projects Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills What You’ll Bring Strategic mindset with the ability to grow and improve service delivery Strong technical foundation combined with proven leadership ability Commitment to innovation, efficiency, and team development #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
