This facility serves as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon. The cancer center features a beautiful, state-of-the-art free-standing facility with a new 19-chair infusion room, onsite mixing pharmacy, nurse navigation, and Radiation Oncology onsite. The facility is affiliated with Oregon Health Sciences University and is an OHSU Knight Cancer Network Member, providing a robust collaborative network and access to leading-edge clinical trials.

Opportunity:
Physician – Oncology

Job Details:

• Seeking two full-time (80 hours per pay period) or part-time (48 hours per pay period) Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist candidates
• BE (within 2 years)/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology required
• Experience practicing Radiation Oncology preferred; open to excellent recent graduates
• Patient demographics are roughly 20% Hematology and 80% Oncology
• Average of 10-15 patients per day in a clinic/office setting
• Outpatient only – no inpatient consults; clinic visits and collaboration with infusion team
• 8-hour days with 1:4 call schedule (primarily critical lab calls), including one weekend per rotation
• High caliber, collegial, and outstanding nurse infusion team
• Access to a full scope of services including cardiology, radiology, oncology, emergency care, surgical care, critical care, inpatient psychiatry, wound care, primary care, pediatrics, OB, and home health
• Open to Locum to Perm candidates
• Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
• Open to new Fellow graduates
• Active Oregon license required (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Clean malpractice history and background required
• NPDB self-query report required at time of presentation
• DEA required prior to start
