Medical Receptionist

Pride Health is hiring Medical Receptionist / Customer Service / Administration to support our client’s medical facility based in White Plains, NY. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Medical Receptionist / Customer Service / Administration

Location: White Plains, NY

Schedule: 1st shift M-F, 9:00 - 5:30pm EST

Pay Range/Salary Range: $20 - $22

Contract Duration: 5+ months

Job Description:

• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and courteously.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide timely follow-up, and escalate concerns when needed.
• Report laboratory results following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Educate customers on laboratory processes and procedures.
• Protect confidential customer and patient information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or healthcare experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and listening skills.
• Professional and tactful manner when handling stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Work Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Frequent typing and repetitive hand/wrist movements.
