FULL-TIME HANDYMAN – NEW YORK & NEW JERSEY

MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE

HANDYMAN MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE HOME WORK VAN AND SECURE IT.

Pay & Opportunity

• Starting pay: $30 per hour

Schedule & Availability

This is a full-time position . Overtime opportunities are available.

The position may occasionally require:

• Saturday work
• Late-night work
• Overnight work

These situations will arise based on project and customer needs. Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible schedule when necessary.

What You'll Do

• Perform general handyman and property maintenance work
• Complete repairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Troubleshoot problems and determine the best solution
• Travel between job sites throughout New York and New Jersey
• Complete assigned work efficiently and professionally
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Keep tools, materials, and the company work van clean and organized

Requirements

• Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable driving history
• Own basic hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable traveling throughout New York and New Jersey
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays, late nights, or overnight projects when needed

Company Work Van Provided

A company work van will be provided for the position.

The employee will be responsible for keeping the van clean, organized, and properly stocked with the necessary tools and materials. Taking care of the company vehicle, tools, and equipment is an important part of the job.
