Referral Coordinator
The Referral Coordinator is primarily responsible for making appointments for patients at all sites utilizing the central appointment process. This includes, but not limited to, making specialty service appointments; patient registration; coordinating the appointment process for patients; assisting with obtaining specialist consult reports; arranging transportation to specialty appointments; answering and directing all phone calls; and maintaining a professional and confidential working environment. Required Education/Required Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: Minimum 3 year experience in an office setting preferable medical office setting. Experience working with underserved or homeless populations preferred. *For correctional position-correctional experience- preferred but not required.
