Regional Liaison Director - Cardiovascular

AstraZeneca seeks a Cardiovascular Regional Liaison Director to lead Field Medical Affairs teams across multiple US locations. The role involves executing medical strategies, managing direct reports, and driving clinical outcomes aligned with business objectives in the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Field Medical Affairs team to execute medical strategies and drive clinical outcomes
- Guide collection of medical insights and communicate actionable findings to internal stakeholders
- Manage direct reports including recruitment, hiring, retention, and professional development
- Oversee team financial resources and ensure compliance with guidelines and policies
- Lead change initiatives fostering accountability and innovation in field operations
Requirements
- Doctorate in bio-sciences, pharmacology, pharmacy, nursing, medicine, or PA/NP
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably leading Field Medical Affairs teams
- Experience in product launch and strategy development and execution
- Account-based experience partnering with payers, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication and FDA requirements
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with ability to travel over 50%
- Basic knowledge of health economics principles and clinical trials
Compensation: $211,111–$316,666 base annually
