Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ success as an onsite school psychologist in the greater Fort Worth area. This contract position offers a unique hybrid schedule, welcoming both full-time and part-time professionals—whether you’re seeking five days on campus or prefer a balance, such as three onsite and two remote days each week. The role is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 28, 2027, giving you the opportunity to foster growth over multiple academic years.
Your expertise as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or as an Associate School Psychologist will be vital for student development and well-being. A current School Psychologist license from the board of examiners of psychologists is required. The onboarding process ensures a safe environment for all through fingerprinting and registry list screening.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist
- Current School Psychologist credential from the board of examiners of psychologists
- Previous experience in schools or working with children and adolescents preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and assessment skills
- Comfort with both in-person and remote service delivery
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services
- Support Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Maintain thorough documentation and case files in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on student mental health concerns
