Volt is immediately hiring for Forklift Operator per in Livonia, MI

As a Forklift Operator, you will:

• Performs various shipping and receiving duties both manually and with a forklift.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and conducts inventory actions.
• Utilizing positive communication skills.
• Providing superior customer service to our customers.
• Prepares orders by processing requests; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Learn and work with the warehouse management system to be able to research and resolve issues/errors.
• Process Purchase Orders, Receiving, Warehouse Product Put-away, Customer Orders, Warehouse Transfers, perform inventory cycle counts and daily perpetual counts.

This is a full-time contract opportunity.

• 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience (shipping/receiving/put away)
• 2-3 years of Forklift Experience (sit down)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• PC / computer experience.
• Scan gun usage experience.

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $19.00per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
