RN Case Review Coordinator - Faulkner

About This Role The RN Case Review Coordinator at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is responsible for performing essential case management activities to facilitate safe transitions post-discharge. This role is ideal for experienced nurses with a strong background in utilization review and case management. Highlights Pay: $41.36 - $100.00/Hourly Location: Jamaica Plain, MA Facility: Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. Schedule: Full-time; 40 hours What You'll Do Perform utilization review to evaluate appropriate level of care. Fax all insurance reviews timely to prevent denials. Collaborate with patient/family and interdisciplinary team for discharge needs. Place and implement referrals to all levels of post-acute care. Document interactions with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team online. Interact with various third-party payers daily. Refer cases not meeting appropriate level of care to the Physician Advisor. Review for Observation status and facilitate documentation for Medicare status change. Monitor for quality issues and document in R.L. solutions. Provide patients or family members with important notifications and acknowledgments. Requirements Education: BSN required. Experience: 3 years of Utilization Review and Case Management experience required, 4 or more years preferred. 5 years of Acute Care Nursing required, 6 or more preferred.
