Director of Accounting

LHH is partnering with a well-established, publicly traded organization seeking a Director of Accounting – Corporate & Consolidations to lead critical accounting and financial reporting functions. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, process improvements, and strategic financial initiatives. Reporting to executive leadership, the Director will oversee corporate accounting operations, consolidation activities, financial reporting, and internal controls while mentoring and developing a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop Corporate Accounting and Consolidations teams. Oversee preparation and review of consolidated financial statements. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions. Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Drive operational efficiencies and continuous process improvements across accounting functions. Support financial systems optimization and large-scale transformation initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience. Strong background in corporate accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting. Experience leading and developing accounting teams. Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Proven ability to improve processes and implement best practices. Experience within healthcare, partnership accounting, or multi-entity environments is preferred. Exposure to ERP implementations or financial system transformations is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and business partnering skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
