Full-Time Pharmacy ManagerSoleo Health is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Manager to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy in Canton, MA. Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!The Position:Directs pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective operations.Demonstrates understanding of USP 797 standards, USP 800 standards, and current State Board of Pharmacy (BOP) regulations.Provides and/or oversees compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by physicians or other mid-level practitioners and authorized medical personnel in a safe and efficient manner.Ensures that all pharmacy operations, practices and procedures meet all licensing and standards requirements established by local, state and federal agencies.Prepares prescriptions, solutions, and medications accurately and promptly.Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of specific patient, drug and disease information to identify real and potential drug-related problem or needs.Conducts and revises the patient's plan of care.Prepares formulations for solutions/medications, and ensures the accuracy of the preparation; may oversee work of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and InternsParticipates in the preparation, distribution, security and maintenance of controlled substances.Interfaces with physicians and referral sources as required.Serves as a drug information resource to the sales force and participates in team selling and sales support.Participates in and maintains on–call schedule for pharmacists and covers as needed.Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, holding meetings, addressing performance issues, and approving payrollCompletes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pmMust be willing to participate in an on-call rotation (2 weeks per month)Must be licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of MARequirements:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experienceAdditional licensure may be required according to stateSpecialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferredApplicable active state licensurePost graduate trainingAdditional licensure may be required according to stateMinimum 7 years Pharmacist experience, preferably direct compoundingEfficiency in CPR +/Care Tend is desiredExcellent customer service skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookAbout Us:Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
