Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the technology manufacturing sector, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Performance and Power Characterization Department supporting the pre-production CPU/GPU validation team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title Laboratory Technician Location Austin, TX What’s the Job? Set up and support test equipment in the System Level Test lab for new silicon validation. Execute power and performance measurement plans to ensure product quality and efficiency. Support lab debug activities to troubleshoot and resolve test failures. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment following calibration procedures. Perform software and BIOS updates for testing equipment as part of daily operations. What’s Needed? Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. 0-2 years of relevant work experience in a lab environment. Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI, and BIOS. Basic knowledge of Linux OS and commands.
