Business Continuity Specialist

Position Overview As a Business Continuity Specialist within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Denver, CO. This role focuses on developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans, testing and exercising those plans, and providing expertise during live events. Job Description Assist in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Oversee testing, emergency response, and recovery activities. Guide the selection of operating strategies to maintain business continuity within a recovery time objective. Support business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning, and disaster‑preparedness planning. Provide support and expertise during live events. Conduct, communicate, and maintain the business continuity lifecycle. Monitor and report on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events, and exercise results. Support relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity matters. Develop, enhance, and disseminate information on continuity processes, standards, and initiatives. Support the development and delivery of training on business continuity. Qualifications and Experience Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. Key requirements include: Preferred Skills – auditing operations, competitive advantages, crisis management, disaster recovery planning, process design, regulatory compliance. Competencies – contingency and disaster recovery, crisis management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, flexibility and adaptability, industry knowledge, tactical and strategic planning, requirements analysis. 2+ years of relevant professional experience; a university/college degree is typically required, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience (including military service). Bachelor’s degree in a related field. No specific certifications or licenses required. Pay Transparency Base Salary: $78,200.00 – $105,800.00 (may vary based on location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive‑eligible with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
