Sales & Operations Planning Manager

We are seeking a Sales and Operations Planning Manager who enjoys connecting business strategy with operational execution, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will lead the planning process that aligns customer demand, inventory strategy, production capabilities, and financial goals. You will work closely with commercial, operations, procurement, product management, and finance teams to support business growth while improving service, efficiency, and supply chain performance. This position is based onsite with regular collaboration across multiple business functions. What You’ll Do Lead sales and operations planning process to ensure alignment across key business teams Facilitate demand and supply planning discussions, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions to support business objectives Partner with commercial teams to develop accurate customer demand forecasts and improve forecast reliability Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, customer service performance, and operational efficiency Develop and maintain planning tools, forecasting methods, and performance metrics that support informed decision making Work closely with procurement teams to provide visibility into material requirements and support sourcing plans Support new product launches, portfolio optimization efforts, and other strategic business initiatives What You’ll Bring Experience leading sales and operations planning, integrated business planning, demand planning, supply planning, or related supply chain processes Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions Experience working with planning, reporting, and enterprise resource planning systems Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, finance, or a related field; advanced education is a plus Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred What You’ll Get Opportunity to play a key role in driving business growth and operational performance Exposure to senior leadership and cross‑functional decision‑making processes Collaborative and team‑oriented work environment Opportunity to lead strategic planning initiatives with measurable business impact Professional growth and development within a global manufacturing organization Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package The ability to influence supply chain strategy, customer service performance, and inventory optimization About Sensient Sensient Technologies Corporation is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and fragrances. Salary Range for this Position Amboy, Illinois: $95,000 – $120,000 Hoffman, Illinois: $109,000 – $130,000 Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
