About the Role Seeking a Contract Trade Support Analyst to provide front office technology support for Equities trading, middle office, and Compliance teams. The role supports mission-critical trading applications in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and requires onsite work in New York City five days per week.

Responsibilities Provide direct front office technology support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor. Monitor trading platforms and FIX network connectivity to maintain system stability and availability. Diagnose and resolve real-time trading issues, including detailed investigations of compliance-related inquiries. Communicate major incidents, business impacts, and resolution status clearly to key stakeholders and senior management. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders, ensuring appropriate tracking, prioritization, and transparency. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendor and internal development teams. Share end-to-end business workflows with Support and QA teams to improve regression testing and operational readiness. Maintain and continuously improve the knowledge base, support runbooks, scripts, and technical documentation. Collaborate across front office, middle office, Compliance, control functions, Support, QA, vendors, and development teams.

Required Qualifications More than 5 years of experience supporting mission-critical front office trading applications within Equities. Experience with U.S. Market Making, ETFs, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, and Convertible Bonds. Strong understanding of high-touch trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS platforms, IOI processing, market data, and CTM flows. Experience with Tidal or other scheduler systems. Experience handling regulatory and compliance-driven requests and inquiries involving Reg NMS, Reg SHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, and TRACE. Proficiency with SQL querying, JIRA for issue tracking, and Microsoft Excel for operational analysis and reporting.

Computer Science degree. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to nontechnical stakeholders. Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across front office, middle office, and control functions. Ability to work independently on complex issues and projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment. Highly self-motivated, dependable, accountable, adaptable, and reliable, with strong teamwork skills. Strong documentation and reporting capabilities. Must be local to New York City and available to work onsite five days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience with scripting and automation tools.
