HVAC Lead Installer

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Summit Heating and Cooling is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. The HVAC Lead Installer will be responsible for leading installation crews, ensuring high-quality HVAC system installations, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise HVAC installation teams on residential and light commercial projects * Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components * Read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and building codes * Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes * Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices * Maintain clear communication with customers, office staff, and project managers * Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems are operating properly before completion * Maintain job site cleanliness and safety standards * Manage tools, equipment, and materials needed for installations Qualifications: * 3+ years of HVAC installation experience * Proven experience leading installation crews * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation techniques * Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams * EPA Certification preferred * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, etc.) Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive pay based on experience * Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) * Paid time off and holidays * Ongoing training and career development * Opportunities for advancement within Summit Heating and Cooling
