Bookkeeper

LUXE CAPITAL is a real estate development and investment company that is looking for a bookkeeper for the management of apartment buildings and the office is located in beautiful Beverly Hills. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will support our financial health by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in Beverly Hills in a great quiet office and flexible hours with a great pay and atmosphere. The candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency with Quickbooks Desktop and or Online accounting software, and a passion for meticulous financial management. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure consistency between bank statements and ledger entries. Prepare and record journal entries to reflect financial activities accurately in the general ledger. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations to verify account accuracy. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of all bookkeeping activities. Requirements Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and or Quickbooks Online. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and journal entries. Create P & L and operating statements for separate properties and LLC. Ability to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting effectively. Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable processes. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Prior experience in public accounting or similar roles will be advantageous for success in this position.
