We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Hollywood, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
• Process and post journal entries, including debits and credits
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor daily banking activity and cash flow
• Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements
• Assist with audits and accounting-related reporting
• Maintain weekly payroll spreadsheets for stylists
• Ensure all financial data is accurate, organized, and up to date

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency with QuickBooks is required
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
