Maintenance Mechanic I
Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic I inspects, maintains, repairs, replaces and adjusts systems and equipment in engineering responsibilities to include electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems and equipment. May be expected to drive CHLA vehicle during worked hours. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 4+ years of on-the-job construction and/or maintenance experience including 2+ years of specific trade experience, such as electrical, plumbing & welding. Valid California Drivers License required. Adherence to CHLA Operation of Vehicles for Business Purposes Policy. Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of the construction trades including electro-mechanical systems and controls. Welding Certificate preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
