Supervisor

Summary:Supervisors play a critical role in the success of each event. Supervisors oversee and work along with a team of laborers who install/dismantle pipe/drape, tables, chairs, carpet, displays, signs, and other equipment as requested by the customer for trade shows, expos, festivals, and other special events. Supervisors are responsible for crew safety, meeting strict deadlines, transportation and care of equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service to both customers and vendors.Essential Functions:Supervises and works with crew.Reads, comprehends, and follows floor plans, material lists, and applies necessary timelinesOrganizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframesWorks with client to ensure show is decorated and set up as plannedEnsures that all safety protocols are followedComplies with all company policies and procedures, including crewmember discipline and documentationReports timeclock adjustments as needed to payroll administratorMay drive loaded vehicle to/from showsAttends staff meetings as requiredCompetencies:Demonstrates problem solving, leadership, decision making, thoroughness and project management skillsCommitted to work safety practicesCommunicates with show organizers, facility managers, and staff in a professional manner, using proper grammar and appropriate languageAbility to read and comprehend floorplans, instructions, correspondence and memosPresence of time management skills and ability to meet critical deadlinesAbility to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, managers, and other employees of the organizationExhibits teamwork and collaborationAbility to write correspondenceDisplays ethical conductProficient in utilizing a phone to respond to company-related texts, calls, and emails as well as utilizing a phone app to accurately clock in/outAbility to utilize and understand current scheduling methods (electronic or printed)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software required by Art Craft Display to perform job duties and record time.REQUIRED TRAINING: You must certifyWithin 90 days, you will be trained to be certified in Forklift. #J-18808-Ljbffr Art Craft Display
