The company reserves the right to modify or terminate benefit plans at any time, consistent with applicable law. # If you’re ready to make an impact with a stable industry leader, we want to hear from you.# **Your Next Career Opportunity – Tax Accountant I** Analyze sales tax and property tax data utilizing and assist in ensuring compliance with policy and procedures. **What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities*** Process property tax bills received from US and International municipalities.* Process property tax bills received from US and International landowners.* Address property tax inquiries from international SBA offices in a timely manner.* Assist with billing property taxes to customers.* Research delinquent tax matters and communicate findings to Tax Manager.* Assists prepare annual property tax returns.* Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.* Identify ways to gain efficiencies in processes, leverage technology and assist implementing changes.* Assist with gathering information for audits and work with external auditors.* Assist with sales and use tax reconciliation and filings* Other projects and duties as assigned. **What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements*** High School Diploma or GED required. AA, BA/ BS degree in Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred.* 2+ years of Accounting experience.* Ability to read, analyze and interpret, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and legal documents.* Analytical and detailed oriented.* Must possess basic accounting skills used in determining accruals and expense determination.* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. #LI-DA1
